What would be your tasks?
Using your well-honed ability to recognize business opportunities and technical expertise, you’ll act as the catalyst for developing Vecos’ market position in smart locker management systems for health and education customers in Belgium.

Reporting to the Sales Lead for Health and Education in the Netherlands, you’ll be responsible for the entire Belgian market. In this position, you’ll have a great deal of freedom.

You’ll start by analysing and charting the Belgian market, using the already collected data. Next, you’ll further develop and hone the proposition for the education and health sector. You’ll convince schools, universities and the health sector that our technological solution is key for their organization. Then you’re going to identify, validate and bring in business prospects.

Who are we looking for?
You’re able to take Vecos’ footprint in the region to the next level, by acquiring new customers and building regional partnerships that contribute directly to our success and growth in Belgium. Of course, you won’t be doing all of this alone. You’ll be working with your driven sales colleagues, sales support and the delivery team in the office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.To thrive in this position, you require a deep understanding of the Belgian healthcare and education sector and have a vast network in hospitals and universities. Relationship-building communication comes natural to you and you’re able to operate at all levels of the Belgian institutions you’ll deal with.

You’re a self-starter who is comfortable working independently as well as a team player, confident and persistent. As well as a superstar in strategizing on client approach and execution, i.e. next steps to take. You’re not limited by this job description or the challenges you’ll work with.

Furthermore, we would like to check off the following job requirements:

Resident in Belgium and prepared to travel the entire country and regularly to Eindhoven;

Fluent in Dutch and French, English is a plus;

Higher vocational education level or university degree and able to work at an academic level in a commercial setting;

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the education and/or healthcare sector; experience with building technology, like room booking or access control, is a definite plus;

Experience with sales at DMU level in both sectors;

Affinity with technology;

Strong analytical skills and an innovative thinker, great at problem solving;

Experience in working in a multidisciplinary environment (IT, design, people and workplace management.
