This is what the position looks like:

As a business analyst, you will join the finance team in Helmond at the HQ. You will be working in a team with the international controller and the FP&A team in Europe (France, Portugal, and the Netherlands). In supporting the FP&A lead to deliver key services for evaluating performance, planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, you will play a critical role.

What you will be doing for example? Driving the preparation of consolidated reporting with commentary to explain performance and variances, providing appropriate financial insight. You will consolidate functional/divisional business plans and forecasts, supporting the preparation of robust reviews of forecasts and budgets, challenging figures to ensure accuracy. Besides that, you are also responsible for reviewing and analyzing performance vs budget, forecast and last year. And you will be collaborating with function leads to track the expected performance of the business, so that timely decisions can be taken to address shortfalls against target or maximizing an emerging opportunity.

Also, you will help function heads understand the results and root cause of variances. And work with the function head to identify and assess opportunities for improvements/corrective actions. You use data to provide insight into risk areas and opportunities for financial results.

Finally, you create sales analyses, measures, and data models. And relevant financial information you provide to stakeholders. Think robust analyses and explanations of both OPEX and CAPEX.

It’s about a position for 40 hours a week.

You will receive an attractive monthly gross salary between € 4.072 and € 5.655 (depending on your knowledge and experience).

Supplemented by a bonus based on the Dorel Juvenile Europe profit-sharing scheme.

You can enjoy 28 vacation days and have the option to buy 5 extra days.

What to bring?

A bachelor or master’s degree and thinking level. Preferably you have a completed education in business management or finance, big data.

Two to five years of working experience in the field is preferable.

Knowledge of PowerBI, Power Query is a big plus.

A good command of the English language in word and writing is a must. Dutch is a plus.

Strong communication skills; from colleagues to various stakeholders.

You are analytical; able to present complex processes clearly and provide insight.

Also, you have a ‘can do’ mentality and can work independent and autonomously.
