About the role
:
You will manage our R&D Team and prioritize R&D projects to support the group strategy and deliver innovative solutions that answers customer needs. The location will be in the Netherlands initially but could be flexible afterwards in Belgium, France or Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
You will lead and develop the R&D Team and will set the priorities
With combination of technologies with agility projects pipeline, you will capitalize know how within the concerned application and enhance value proposition
By establishing partnerships and key alliances you will ensure technology watch to evaluate new products and processes to differentiate our future solutions
You promote developed solutions and provide technical support within the group and in collaboration with Sales & Marketing also to customers
Your Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a university or engineer degree in Material science technology /Polymers as preference and have several years of proven experience leading a R&D Team in a related industry
Your knowledge of Polymer Science, Extrusion, and Compounding is solid, and you have a good understanding of mechanical design and project management
Leading by motivation and example is one of your methods
You have a good understanding of IT and financial Insights
To work complex detail is one of your strength and you are solution-oriented
Your know-how of 3DP applied to polymers is solid
You are fluent in English, another local language like Dutch, French or German is a plus
