  • What are your main responsibilities?

    The growth and continuous innovation of our organization in a challenging technological global environment requires constant attention to the development of our employees. To set up our own Academy, we are looking for an L&D specialist. In this role you will be engaged in professionalizing learning, development and training. You will work from the office in the Netherlands, Helmond for the entire global Schunk Xycarb Technology group. You will report to the HR Director. The duties you will have include:

  • Leading function regarding the global L&D programs and associated cycle;
  • Supporting experts from our organization to convert (technical) content into training material (train the trainer);
  • Professionalization and further development of learning and development tools, such as the LMS;
  • Creation and management of preffered suppliers in the field of training and development;
  • Creation and management of study grants and subsidies;
  • Overall ownership of all L&D related matters, such as coordination skill matrix, registration of certificates, etc.
  • What are your skills? 

    For this position, it is important that you are proactive and have ownership of Learning & Development in the organization. The right candidate for this position will have

  • HBO/WO working and thinking level;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to translate (technical) content into training materials;
  • Experience with multimedia & LMS tools,
  • Result-oriented, “driver” and project-minded way of working;
  • Affinity with the HR profession, especially the continuous development of employees;
  • Excellent communication skills with command of Dutch and English language.
