Overview
As Legal Counsel at Deel, you provide comprehensive legal support across employment law, commercial agreements, and regulatory matters to enable the company's global growth. You will partner with cross functional teams to craft compliant, business oriented legal solutions and manage regional country matters. You'll advise on day to day employment and contractual issues, while developing templates, guides, and processes for scalable compliance. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Draft, review and structure commercial agreements, employment documents, and policies
- Provide employment law advice to customers and employees
- Collaborate with business teams to deliver business oriented legal solutions
- Deliver daily guidance on employment laws and regulations
- Develop templates, playbooks, and processes with legal colleagues
- Serve as the main contact for country specific legal matters
- Handle regional country projects and legal aspects in the assigned region
- Support other teams (Product, Sales, HR) on legal and employment matters
- Ensure global and local compliance of employment documents and practices
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and legal approaches in the regional market
- Negotiate and review client contracts
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years' experience in employment law (law firm or in house)
- Degree in Dutch law (ideally with focus on employment law)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to train junior team members
- Ability to adapt to a fast growing environment
- Willingness to learn across matters outside own area
- Fluency in Dutch and English
