OTTO Work Force
EDCO is one of the largest logistics import/export companies in Europe. In the warehouse in Helmond, the assortment consists of more than 20,000 different products, including electronics, garden equipment, bicycles, toys and car accessories. The company processes thousands of orders daily, preparing and shipping them.
As a logistics employee, you will work in the unloading department. Here you will unload containers. Later, you will be trained in other departments to have more variety. In those departments your responsibilities will include collecting products with an EPT, sorting packages, loading/unloading containers, preparing orders and moving pallets with electric trucks. Alternatively, you can work in the display department, where in designated teams you will carry out special orders.
You will work from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00. In total, you will work 36 to 40 hours per week. During peak periods, you are also needed on Saturdays, for which you will get allowances. During peak periods, you can also be temporarily switched between the warehouses in Eindhoven and Deurne. You have the chance to get a contract at EDCO.
You will get trainings to get to know the company and work activities. If you show your motivation, you can grow in other positions. You also have the opportunity to follow trainings for reach truck, combi truck and other departments. In the canteen you can also relax more actively by playing table tennis or table football, also you can find machines with cold drinks and snacks. During peak periods, you get free sandwiches at the canteen. Several times a year, an equipment sale is offered. Join this team as logistics employee!
