In this role, you will lead complex new product development (NPD) projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization. /p pYou will manage the project portfolio for Maxi-Cosi car seats, overseeing the planning and execution of product development projects for premium juvenile products. These products combine safety, functionality, and aesthetics at the highest level. /p pYou ensure projects are delivered on time, within specifications, and within budget. While project scope may vary, your primary focus will be on innovation-driven initiatives. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the project portfolio in line with brand and company priorities /li liStructure complex strategic projects and develop associated plans and documentation /li liDefine roles and responsibilities to maximize team effectiveness /li liMaintain a strong “helicopter view” across projects and stakeholders /li liLead cross-functional project teams and monitor timelines, milestones, budgets, and processes /li liDrive project profitability and overall business impact /li liEnsure the effective use of project management tools and methodologies /li liConsolidate project reporting and communicate key updates to stakeholders /li liProvide clear scenarios and recommendations to support strategic decision-making /li liLead continuous improvement of project management practices /li liCoordinate the definition of new initiatives to improve profitability within NPD for the car seat category /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field /li li10+ years of experience managing NPD projects, ideally in an international consumer goods environment /li liStrong expertise in project management methodologies and tools /li liProven leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders /li liStrong ability to maintain oversight and align diverse teams toward common goals /li liExcellent communication and collaboration skills /li liSolid technical understanding (engineering knowledge is a plus) /li liStrong presentation, influencing, and written communication skills /li /ul h3Preferred: /h3 ul liExperience with remote team management /li liFamiliarity with Asian markets and cultures /li liKnowledge or experience in Agile project management /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liA salary up to €5.500 gross per month, based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow. /li liYou will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month. /li liYou are eligible for a 13th month and holiday allowance every year. /li liThe annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment. /li liThe possibility to work up to 2 days per week from home. /li liOther terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance. /li /ul h3Working at a Top Employer /h3 pWe are thrilled to have been officially certified as a 'Top Employer' since 2023 for our Dorel Juvenile Europe HQ in the Netherlands!
