Senior Test Engineer

The job:

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will support various EV (Electric Vehicle) and AV (Autonomous Vehicle) connected vehicle integration projects, ensuring the delivery of only high-quality products on time. You will collaborate with a team of testers, software and electronics engineers, as well as various architects. Your role will require alignment and feedback provision to system owners and suppliers. You will work within our HIL (Hardware in the Loop) test environment, utilizing dSpace Scalexio systems and software, alongside Simulink.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and define the test setup;

Develop and implement test automation scripts within our framework/pipeline;

Execute test cases as required;

Analyze and report on test results;

Coordinate and support the test engineers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries;

Enhance the test team’s methodologies for optimal efficiency and excellence.

Your Profile:

Demonstrated expertise as a senior tester at both system and software levels;

A solid grasp of test strategies and risk-based testing;

Knowledge of ISTQB and TMMi frameworks;

Ability to provide technical coaching to engineers;

Experience with dSpace Scalexio hardware and software;

Proficiency in implementing new processes within a HiL environment;

A thorough understanding of test automation frameworks and tools;

Skills in Python scripting and Matlab/Simulink;

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines;

Experience with connectivity tests and simulated driving environments is advantageous;

Background in the automotive industry, especially with EVs or AVs, is beneficial;
