We are currently looking for a System Engineer, position to be filled at Helmond for our Customized Energy Solutions Division.

JOB PURPOSE

The System Engineer is part of the R&D team and is responsible for the design, development and integration of our grid connected battery systems including current and new projects.

SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  • Responsible for product verification and compliancy to legislation in different countries
  • Supplier management and change management at the supplier
  • Establishing appropriate test programs
  • Experience with DFx – Quality, cost and safety
  • Managing the system documentation and certification of our battery systems
  • Communication with suppliers and customers to ensure the functionality of our products is matching our client wishes
  • Develop, design, test and qualify Battery Storage Systems, including Battery Monitoring and Battery Management Systems.
  • Selection of components to be used, integration of the components in the system, design (electrical) schematics, support the installation.
  • Making sure certifications are met, approve systems for Factory Acceptance.
  • Use the knowledge acquired in electrical construction software packages (preferred AutoCAD electrical, EPLAN) to be successful in the mission.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic, and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role of system engineer or as a system integrator.

You have a proven affinity with electronics such as inverter design and battery management systems as well as high voltage systems. You are experienced with FMEA and safety systems, with unit testing, testing setups and testing methodologies.

You have a strong understanding of IoT technologies and are proficient in data bus communications protocols such as CAN, RS485, Modbus and of IP networking.

Technical Knowledge of Products & Processes within the Industry.

Familiar with electrical installation regulations of the Netherlands or Europe (NEN1010 or IEC 60364)

You are recognised for your communication skills, you like to work closely with different functions and develop customer relations.

The mastery English (written and verbal) is essential for the successful completion of your assignments. Chinese is a plus.
